DUO COMPETITION

Recital and Lecture
IDS invites proposals from duos of any combination as long as the set-up time is less than 5 minutes (no piano or electronic accompaniment) to present 20-25 minute recital or 50 minute lecture/lecture recital. The world premiere performances will be given priorities. Proposal deadline is January 15, 2020 (*All presenters will be notified within 2 weeks of application - apply early!)  Presenters agree to appear at the 2020 IDS at their own expense. Those who have been accepted as presenters must pre-register for the festival no later than February 1, 2020.
Chamber Music Masterclass
Chamber Ensemble of any combination is encouraged to apply to perform in masterclasses with Duo Nyans, Duo Zúñiga-Guandique, or Cooper Duo.  Up to 6 groups will be selected to perform.  Application is due by February 1, 2020. Masterclass participants agree to appear at the 2020 IDS at their own expense. Those who have been accepted as performers must pre-register for the festival no later than February 15, 2020.

    Presentation Application

    Please include all of the information including Composition Title (Composition Date), Composer Name (Composer Dates), Arranger Name (if applicable), Movements, Instrumentation, and Duration of the work. If you are applying to present a lecture, please include the title and summary of your lecture.
    Please add your website, YouTube video link, soundcloud link, etc for additional information.
