Artist Bio
Sarah Weisbrod and Chris Dickhaus formed The Questionable Duo in 2019 to pursue an unconventional chamber music experience. Meeting at the University of Minnesota, they have worked with local composers; sharing a desire to add great works to the canon of duo repertoire.
Sarah Weisbrod is the Instructor of Flute at Bemidji State University, and is currently finishing a Master of Music in flute performance at the University of Minnesota. Weisbrod holds a Bachelor of Music, cum laude, in flute performance with a minor in computer science from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN. Her primary teachers include Immanuel Davis and Debora Harris.
Residing in Minneapolis, Chris Dickhaus is the Instructor of Saxophone at Winona State University, and is in the final year of his DMA in Saxophone Performance at the University of Minnesota. Chris holds degrees from the University of North Carolina- Greensboro, and the University of North Texas. Prior to moving to Minnesota, Chris maintained a studio of 65-80 middle and high school saxophone students in Texas, and was an Instructor of Saxophone at the University of Northern Iowa.
