Ensemble Bio:
Darkwood Duo, an ensemble dedicated to the music of of time, features clarinetists Andrew DeBoer and Lisa Kachouee. Both performers are passionate about new music and break the formal barriers of the concert hall to bring new repertoire to new venues and audiences. As an ensemble, Darkwood Duo is expanding and promoting the repertoire for two clarinets, including works for clarinet and bass clarinet or two bass clarinets. The ensemble has concertized at universities, as part of educational events, and will travel to Belgium this summer to perform at the International Clarinet Association’s ClarinetFest, 2018.
